YOSHIKOlicious Beauty Kitchen YOSHIKOlicious Beauty お食事会

Hello, everyone. I did my YOSHIKOlicious Beauty Kicthen which is my social dining with beauty food yesterday for the first time in 16 months! I started thinking about reopening my social dining last month as more people are vaccinated, and realized that there are people who were looking forward to joining me. I limited the number of participants, yet we had a great time! 皆様こんにちは。昨日、16ヶ月ぶりに私の美容食のお食事会、YOSHIKOlicious Beauty Kicthenを再開しました。より多くの方がワクチンを打った先月、再開を考え始め、楽しみにしてくださっている方々がいると実感しました。参加人数を限定しましたが、それでもとても楽しいひと時を過ごしました！

I got tested the day before for just in case. It was negative, off cause. 前日、念のため検査を受けました。もちろん陰性でした。

In the farmers market in Union Square, I found purple califlour, and I used that for Bagna Cauda. ユニオンスクエアのファーマーズマーケットでは、パープルのカリフラワーを発見！バーニャカウダに使いました。

This time, I asked the participants if they have any request. Bagna Cauda, as well as this tender cooked octopus were those I was asked to make. 今回、参加者の方々に何かリクエストがあればとお尋ねしました。バーニャカウダとこのタコの柔らか煮はつくってほしいとご依頼いただいたものです。

Originally I was going to cook soft shell crab, but I was unable to get them unfortunately. The season might be over. Instead, I bought scallops, and served them with garlic anchovy butter sauce. 元々はソフトシェルクラブをお出しするつもりだったのですが、残念ながら手に入りませんでした。シーズンが終わってしまったのかもしれません。代わりにホタテを買い、ガーリックアンチョビバターソースでお出ししました。

I also received a request for paella! パエリアもリクエストいただきました！

One of the participants had a birthday on the following day. I don't make sweets, and her neighbor makes great pudding, so I bought them and served as a dessert. I added strawberries and candles for the birthday girl. Again, happy birthday! 参加者のお1人は、翌日がお誕生日でした。私はスイーツをつくらないし、彼女のご近所の方がとっても美味しいプリンをつくられるので、プリンを買ってデザートとしてお出ししました。バースデーガールには、キャンドルとイチゴを添えてお出ししました。改めて、お誕生日おめでとうございます！

I confirmed that everyone went back home safely. Thank you very much for coming! 皆さんが無事帰宅されたことも確認しました。いらしてくださって、ありがとうございました！

June Food Shopping Tour ６月の食材ショッピングツアー

Hello, everyone! I did another shopping tour last Saturday. It was so hot💦💦💦 皆様、こんにちは！先週土曜日に、また食材ショッピングツアーを開催しました。とっても暑かったです💦💦💦

More different vegetables were available in the farmers market in Union Square compared to May. ５月に比べて、より多くの野菜が見られました。

I later came back to the market and bought the shiner. I cook them as if they are "wakasagi." 私は後でマーケットに戻って、シャイナーを買いました。私はこれ、ワカサギ同様に調理します。

We also walked in NoLita, Little Italy, and China Town. After the tour, we had a lunch in a Malaysian restaurant. The participants were saying they feel as if they were traveling internationally! ノリータ、リトルイタリー、チャイナタウンも歩きました。ツアーの後は、マレーシア料理のレストランでランチ。参加してくださった皆さん、まるで海外旅行をしたかのようとおっしゃっていました！

Thank you very much for attending! I later receieved many positive feedback such as "it was so much fun!" "It was a good opportunity to discover foods I have not known." ご参加ありがとうございました！後で皆様から、「とっても楽しかった！」「知らなかった食べ物を知るいい機会になった」とたくさんのポジティブなフィードバックをいただきました。
