Sunday Food Shopping Tour 日曜日の食材ショッピングツアー

Hello, everyone! I received a request for my food shopping tour on Sunday, and did it the other day. I normally start at the farmers market in Union Square, but that is not happening on Sundays, therefore I started at the farmers market in Tompkins Square Park in East Village. The number of the vendors there was fewer than in Union Square, yet there were vendors who carried interesting ingredients. For example, this vendor had several purple vegetables. There is a fish vendor there too. 皆様、こんにちは！日曜日に私の食材ショッピングツアーをやってほしいとのリクエストをいただき、先日開催しました。通常はユニオンスクエアのファーマーズマーケットでスタートするのですが、日曜日はやっていないので、イーストビレッジのトンプキンススクエアパークのファーマーズマーケットでスタートしました。ベンダーさんの数はユニオンスクエアのファーマーズマーケットより少ないのですが、面白い食材扱っているベンダーさんいます。例えば、こちらのベンダーさんはパープルの野菜をいくつか扱っていました。お魚屋さんもあります。

The garlic scape is in season now! 今は、ニンニクの茎（日本ではニンニクの芽ともいうみたいですね）がシーズン！

After we left the farmers market, I took them to few of my favorite stores in East Village. ファーマーズマーケットの後は、イーストビレッジのお勧めのお店をいくつかご案内しました。

And then we went to Chinatown, Little Italy, and NoLita. それからチャイナタウン、リトルイタリー、ノリータに行きました。

After the tour is over, we had a lunch together in a Malaysian restaurant. We had a lot and it cost only $25 per person including beer! It was a very good choice! ツアー終了後は、マレーシア料理のレストランで皆さんとランチしました。たくさん食べてビールも飲んで１人25ドル！大満足でした！
