Mainly Sardines Italian YOSHIKOlicious Beauty Kitchen イワシメインのイタリアンのYOSHIKOlicious Beauty Kitchen

Hello, everyone! I had someone who requested pasta next time when he comes to my beauty food social dining, YOSHIKOlicious Beauty Kitchen. I then had another person who was very thrilled to hear about my mainly sardines Italian social dining. Therefore I held my YOSHIKOlicious Beauty Kitchen with the theme of mainly sardines Italian and I included three different pasta! This time, most of people are in fashion industry in New York. One of them is Ruri who has been doing her business with tenugui, and she asked me to let her prepare individual napkins and table runner with tenugui according with the theme. Look at them! The individual napkins had a shape of fish, and the pattern was something related to ocean. The table runner was made with white, green, and red solid color tenugui so that it resembles the Italian flag! What a great idea! Thank you, Ruri san for your kind suggestion. The individual napkin was a present for the each participant. Everyone was so happy! For those who are interested in her tenugui, her website is now underconstruction but you can take a little bit of them at etsy. 皆様、こんにちは！次回の私の美容食のお食事会、YOSHIKOlicious Beauty Kitchenに来る時はパスタ食べたいとリクエストしてくださった方がおられました。別途、私の「イワシメインのイタリアン」のお食事会のことを聴いて、すごくそそられるという方がいらっしゃいました。そこで、イワシメインのイタリアンのテーマでYOSHIKOlicious Beauty Kitchenを開催し、パスタを３種類入れることにしました！今回は大方の方々がニューヨークのファッション業界で働いている方たちでした。そのうちのお１人は、手ぬぐいのお仕事を長年されてこられている琉璃さんで、テーマに沿った各自用のナプキンとテーブルランナーを手ぬぐいでつくらせてほしいとおっしゃってくださいました。見てください！各自用ナプキンは魚の形をしていて、柄は何か海に関連しています。テーブルランナーは白、グリーン、赤の無地の手ぬぐいを縫い合わせてイタリア国旗のようにみえます。なんて素晴らしいアイデアなんでしょう！琉璃さん、ご親切なご提案、ありがとうございます。各自用のナプキンは、それぞれ皆さんにプレゼントされました。皆さん大喜び！琉璃さんの手ぬぐいに興味のある方、現在サイトはリノベ中ですが、エッツィーで少しだけ見ることができます。

I started the dinner with marinated octopus with tomato, asparagus, and the sauce contained anchovies. I used eight pounds of sardines for this dinner, and also five dishes contained anchovies. Two dishes had both sardines and anchovies. 前菜は、タコとトマトとアスパラガスのマリネ。マリネソースにアンチョビを入れました。このディナーのために８ポンドのイワシを使いましたが、５品はアンチョビが入っていて、２品はイワシとアンチョビの両方が入っていました。

The first pasta was Sicilian style pasta with sardines and fennels. １つめのパスタはイワシとフェンネルのシシリア風パスタです。

The second pasta was linguini with homemade oil sardines with tomato. This is my long-term favorite! ２つめのパスタは、トマト味自家製オイルサーディンのリングイニ。私の長年のお気に入りです！

Short pasta with anchovies, walnuts, and rosemary. I have been making and eating this for me and my family for years and I decided to add this a day before. Two people told me that this pasta was their most favorite, so I am glad that I added this at the last minutes! アンチョビ、胡桃、ローズマリーが入っているショートパスタ。これは長年私が自分や家族のためにつくって食べてきているもので、お食事会の前日にこれも加えようと決めました。２人の方が、これが一番気に入ったとおっしゃってくださったので、急遽加えて良かったです！

This is my another favorite, Beccafico style sardines. こちらも私のお気に入り、鰯のベッカフィーコ風です。

There was someone who wanted to have meat as well, so I served chicken cacciarore as ancovies are included in this dish. I think this turned out to be pretty good! I will make this again! 肉も食べたいという方がいらしたので、チキンカチャトーレもお出ししました。アンチョビが入っているからです。かなりいい出来栄えになったと思います！またつくります！

The last dish was my homemade oil sardines with tomato! After this, I served a fruit cake which has been existed since medieval time in Italy as dessert; it is ready-to-eat one but it is quite tasty. 最後は私のトマト味自家製オイルサーディン！この後は、イタリアで中世から伝わるフルーツケーキ、既製品ですが美味しいのがあるので、デザートとしてお出ししました。

We had a great time with lots of laugh! Everything I served was gone! たくさん笑って楽しい時間を過ごしました！お出しした料理はいつの間にか、全部なくなっていました！
