Grilled Sardines and Tomatoes イワシとトマトのグリル

Hello, everyone.  Just before the end of 2016, I made this grilled sardines and tomatoes.  I ordered sardines through Fresh Direct for the first time.  When I opened the package last night, I was very impressed with the freshness of the sardines.  I wanted to make something with the sardines while they were so fresh.  I grilled them along with sliced tomatoes.  After I placed the sardines and tomatoes, I added black olives, pomegranates, and chopped parsleys.  I then poured olive oil.  This was well received in my Instagram as well.  The taste of pomegranate which contains powerful antioxidant, matched with sardines better than I expected.  Pomegranate also helped the look pretty!
These were the sardines I received through Fresh Direct.  I ordered 1 pound and there were six sardines. 
They were really fresh!  Sardines are rich in many important nutrients including vitamin B-12, phosphorus, selenium, omega-3 fatty acid, protein, as well as vitamin D.  As for the benefits for skin, I particularly love that sardines contain lots of selenium which is powerful antioxidant and omega-3 fatty acids which helps to moisturize our skin and hair.
